Raisin River Canoe Race

April 13 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pre-registration is now open. In-person registration may be available on a first-come first-served basis depending on availability, on Race Day (April 13) beginning at 9 AM at St. Andrew’s Catholic School, (17283 County Rd 18, St Andrew’s West).

The Raisin River Canoe Race is one of the longest canoe races in Eastern Ontario. First started in 1973, the 30km course runs from St. Andrews to Williamstown. The race is always held during the spring freshet when water levels are high and flows are favourable for paddlers. Thanks to the support from our funders and the Race Safety Committee (South Glengarry and South Stormont Fire Departments, Amateur Radio Emergency services, OPP and OPP Auxiliaries) we can coordinate a successful race year after year.
